SR8 won the toss and decided to bat first. Even though we were able to take wickets regularly some dropped chances cost us dearly. They ended up scoring 154-5 after their 20 overs. Avtar was the pick of the bowlers taking 2 wickets in his 4 overs and giving away only 23 runs.

Chasing 155 in a final was quite the task. Nimesh and Amrit opened the batting. The partnership only lasted two balls as Nimesh was dismissed for 2 (runs). Manjeet joined Amrit and put on a partnership of 55 runs. Manjeet was dismissed for a well made 27 which included two 4s. Dumindu then joined Amrit and the pair put on another 54 runs. Dumindu was eventually dismissed for a well made 33 which included one 4 and one 6. We kept losing wickets at regular intervals as the required run rate per over had passed 10. We were all out for 138 in the 20th over. Amrit was the pick of our batters scoring 48.
